Ensure that your loved ones are taken care of in your Will, and help Harlington Hospice at the same time by making a new Will or updating your Will.  Although our FREE WILL MONTH has finished, you could still get this done free of charge.

Making a Will is very important as it makes sure the things you leave behind go to the people and causes you care about.  More than half the UK population don’t have an up to date Will – don’t let this be you! Making a Will doesn’t have to be difficult or expensive and Harlington Hospice can help.

Local solicitors who support our work help to raise awareness of the importance of having a Will by waiving their normal fee for writing a standard Will in lieu of a donation to Harlington Hospice.

  • Decide who you would like to take care of and remember in your Will
  • Reduce or eliminate your family's inheritance tax
  • Help patients and families affected by life-limiting illness

The suggested donation for a basic Will is between £75 – £100 or for mirrored Wills £150 – £250.

Why update my Will during Make Your Will Month?

Your Will is one of the most important documents you will ever sign and it ensures your estate and possessions can be distributed as you want them to be and ensures peace of mind and security for you and those you love.

All of the money donated by you for the drafting of the Will is given directly to Harlington Hospice by your chosen solicitor to help us to provide care and support people with a life limiting illness, their families and carers.

Your legacy is a precious gift…

Once you’ve taken care of your family and friends, you might also consider leaving a legacy in your Will to Harlington Hospice. Any gift you choose to leave, however large or small, will help us to continue to provide care, comfort and support to people in their final days.   Download our Wills and Legacies leaflet for more details about our work.
